Breast Reduction

Large, pendulous breasts may cause a woman to experience various medical problems as a result of the excessive weight of the breast tissue. Problems with posture, back and neck pain, skin irritation, and breathing are common with this condition. Bra straps often leave painful indentations on the shoulders. Many women, particularly younger women, feel self-conscious and embarrassed if they have uncommonly large breasts.

Breast reduction is a procedure in which excess fat, glandular tissue, and skin are removed, resulting in smaller, lighter, and firmer breasts that are more proportionate to the rest of the body.
