Foad Nahai, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Prior to joining Paces Plastic Surgery in 1998, Dr. Nahai practiced at the Emory Clinic where he was Professor of Plastic Surgery at Emory's School of Medicine. He was educated in England, where he completed medical school. His post-graduate surgical training was at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore and Emory in Atlanta. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Professional memberships include numerous international, national, and local plastic surgery organizations. Dr. Nahai is internationally recognized as an innovator in the field of plastic surgery where he has developed and refined many procedures. He has co-authored seven books and published over 135 scientific articles on all aspects of Plastic Surgery. The latest book he co-authored and edited, published in 2005, is a three-volume text entitled The Art of Aesthetic Surgery. He has been invited to lecture and demonstrate plastic surgical procedures all over the world. In addition to numerous professional honors and awards, he is listed in the "Best Doctors in America", the "Best Doctors in the U.S.", Town & Country Magazine, Good Housekeeping, More Magazine, and Atlanta Magazine as one of the top plastic surgeons. He has been listed in W Magazine as one of the top plastic surgeons in the world. Dr. Nahai is in demand internationally to speak at plastic surgery meetings and to demonstrate surgical procedures.

Dr. Nahai currently serves as President of (ASAPS) The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, First-Vice President of (ISAPS) The International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and as a Director of The American Board of Plastic Surgery.

T. Roderick Hester, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Founder, Paces Plastic Surgery - A native of Cairo, Georgia, Dr. Hester received undergraduate, medical school and plastic surgery training at Emory University. Prior to founding Paces Plastic Surgery in 1993, Dr. Hester was a Professor for 15 years at Emory University, where he is now serving as Chief of the Division of Plastic Surgery. He is a fellow member of the American College of Surgeons and a member of numerous national and local plastic surgery societies. Dr. Hester is board certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. Each year Dr. Hester is a featured speaker and teacher at numerous national and international plastic surgery meetings. He has contributed important innovations in plastic surgery techniques and authored numerous scientific articles. In recognition of these achievements, Dr. Hester has received numerous awards and honors by his peers. Dr. Hester is frequently listed as a leading plastic surgeon by local and national publications. As a final note, Dr. Hester is known for the genuine concern he has for the needs of each individual patient. He is committed to helping patients make appropriate decisions and seeing them through their treatment process.

Kristin Boehm, M.D.

Originally from New York, Dr. Kristin A. Boehm graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in Biology. She completed her medical degree and five year general surgery residency at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in Rochester, New York. Following this she underwent a two year fellowship in plastic surgery at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah. She then moved to Atlanta, Georgia to do an additional fellowship in aesthetic and oculoplastic surgery at Paces Plastic Surgery. She is Board Certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgeons as well as the American Board of Surgery.

Following completion of her training, Dr. Boehm spent four and a half years in private practice in central Georgia. Here she was able to further hone her clinical skills in breast surgery, oculoplastic surgery, and reconstruction following Mohs surgery for skin cancer. She rejoined Paces Plastic Surgery in 2007 and performs surgery out of Northside-Cherokee Hospital as well as the Paces Surgical Center.

Dr. Boehm is a member of the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the Southeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons, and a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. She has particular interest in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids and periorbita.

Farzad R. Nahai, M.D.

Dr. Farzad R. Nahai is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He grew up in Atlanta and attended Emory University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He received his medical degree at Emory University and stayed to complete full training in general surgery. After finishing his general surgery training Dr. Nahai spent a year as a surgeon for the Navajo Nation in New Mexico. Afterwards Dr. Nahai's plastic surgery training was at the prestigious program of the University of California in San Francisco. He pursued further specialty training in Plastic Surgery, completing the aesthetic and oculoplastic fellowship here at Paces Plastic Surgery and a Craniofacial and Pediatric Plastic surgery fellowship at Scottish Rite Children's hospital.

Dr. Nahai enjoys the full spectrum of Plastic Surgery, focusing on aesthetic surgery of the face, breast, and body. Based at Paces he also has hospital privileges at Piedmont, Scottish Rite, Egleston, and Northside Hospitals. He has published numerous papers on aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. A recent journal article he co-authored won the award for best scientific paper at the California Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Tiffany award at the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons national meeting. He has also written several chapters in plastic surgery text books about facial, breast, and abdominal plastic surgery. Dr. Nahai keeps up to date on the current trends and attends plastic surgery meetings regularly, where he is often asked to present his work.

Dr. Nahai is a compassionate individual, takes pride in his work, pursues perfection, and has a reputation as a highly skilled surgeon. He also commits time every year helping the less fortunate who need plastic surgery both in Central America and and in the United States, through his association with Children's Cross Connection International. When he is not practicing plastic surgery he enjoys spending time with is family, riding his bike, kung fu, hiking, and skiing.
